The experiment is taking place in a province called Bondo that's sort of in the southwestern part of Kenya. 75 cents a day is not a lot of money in the US, but it goes a lot further and is a lot closer to what people make in a year in Kenya. "I would rather deny myself a few things, but enable my son to go to school," one woman says.
