One of the supposed benefits of cryptocurrency is that you can transfer it instantly and free of charge all around the world but actually that's already starting to the wheels are coming off that one a bit because as the difficulty of mining bitcoins goes up and up and up so through exactly the same mechanism does the difficulty of confirming Bitcoin transactions.
