When i was first having a bad insomnia problems early in grad school, and there's a whole back story to that. And my theory has always been, all these things i'm doing that should be really anxious, anxiety producing all that anxiety just got funelled into this random, weird thing. I had a system where i said em twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, i'm going to address these thoughts and point out the distortions,. But not in between. In between whe mind's like, let's think about sleep and why we're worried. It took a long time bu it went away, was very effective.
