Our job isn't really convinced people of anything. It makes sure that there's as much information as possible so they can make their own decisions. The type of anti-trafficking work that OUR made its name on is ineffective and doesn't address the core reasons why people are trafficked, why people are sex workers or other elements of these related problems. "I have my own criterion rubric when I'm looking at an organization I might be donating to," she says.
