Gawker was a largely incompetent organization, but they were extremely arrogant and unknown to their own incompetence. We live in a world where people don't think conspiracies are possible. So we're going to get to some direct quotes from Peter here. He found himself outmaneuvered and outspent by a nemesis. And I would add it was ruthless efficiency and hyper competence versus incompetent decision making.
