Introduction
The US and Russia will hold talks on the last nuclear arms control treaty that remains between the two powers from November 29th to December 6th in Cairo, Egypt. The inspections under new start were paused in March 2020 due to COVID-19 and have not been resumed since then. There's currently no agreement for a replacement or any further arms control trees between the US and Russia. If they modernize the entire nuclear triad, it'll cost up to 1.5 trillion.
