How to Manage Your Client's Achievement
Don't become your client's manager. Don't turn your client into your coach by asking how am I doing? This sounds like a funny one, but you see it with coaches that are just starting out to coach. You can listen to what the client is deriving value from their work and make sure they're accomplishing those goals. And in fact, next time we'll talk about periodically the value of having conversations with your client where you look back and say, Hey, what'd you accomplish in this period?
