We Want More Powers and Resources in London
Sadiq: We've got the most unequal region in the country. But we actually get to spend only 7% of taxes raised in London. New York, a great mayor there, Eric Adams, gets to spend 50%. Tokyo gets to spend 70%. The sort of additional powers and resources we want is we want to have more of the property taxes raise in London.
