The Rule of Honor Culture in Politics

There is a modest connection between the endorsement of ono related beliefs and values and political conservativism. We get honor, to an extent, by winning and defeating them. What do we do to our enemies? In honor culture, we kill them. And what i think many people see in the u.S., is that once you've picked a side, if you're a republican or a democrat, conservative or a liberal, you have a tendency to demonize the other side. You define them as other. They're the bad guys. Even though they're fellow americans....
