The Principle of Selection for Critical Humanism

A significant part of the book is devoted, as you've pointed out, to really sustained and insightful critiques of specific theoretical and scholarly orientations. You do that before offering your own theoretical and methodological approach. I'm wondering why you chose the scholars that you chose and how useful their theories were to you in articulating critical humanism. And we see those failures in the works under review in the book.
