The Nature of Majesty in Psalm 8

The heart of the psalm is a special majesty, an unexpected majesty, a peculiar majesty. Verse 2 mentions the mouths of babes and infants testifying to God's strength. You can't help but think of Exodus 15, the weak people as the Egyptian army comes down on them. They're hemmed in against the back of the Red Sea. He declares the strength, they declare the strength of God in the face of foes and enemies and of injures.
