The dog is free of inferiority complex or superiority complex, free of negative body image. Even the ugliest dog is okay with it and even an overweight dog doesn't have a problem with weight. So there's not that image self in the mind that you then split yourself into. You live with an image of yourself and you live through that image of yourself.
