Is It Better to Wear Running Shoes When You're Lifting Heavy Weights Lower Body?

I prefer going barefoot, but I know that there's been a lot of talk about not wearing converse all stars when you lift. When I train lower body, I prefer barefoot just like you. If I have to for whatever reason, I'll wear the new balance of minimis. They're hard flat soles, which are great for for lower body strength training. Also often wear those on the elliptical. But if you don't like going Barefoot, then a hard flat sole is great.
