i think that one thing that's happening right now in our society is that we are looking for convenient labels to dismiss the other side. Just because you have a lot of data doesn't mean your theoretical interpretation or understanding is going to be correct. And another thing that i think hat you allude to is, very often scientific ideas are expressed in a very pedantic, dogmatic, sneering, condescending way towards members of the public. I don't believe that most scientific bodies act in this way. But some people do. And so you need more people to come out and say 'you know what? There's another mode here' The book was published by Simon & Schuster
