How Does Patreon.com Work for 16 Years?
Patreon.com has been running for 16 years and costs just $4 a month to run. Money comes from donations, but there is no real six-person newsroom or studio. The site does have one sponsor who provide us with equipment - but they don't give us money. So we've never had an advertiser on. Apart from YouTube ads, but we do not select what advertisers are.
