How to Calculate Scholarship Aid at Yale
All of Yale's financial aid is based on need. We're not looking at your admissions application to determine if you should receive more financial aid. That's a totally separate concept altogether. Along with this need-based approach, there are two really important principles that we call vertical equity and horizontal equity. They sound complicated but they're actually really straightforward.
