Is the Dollar System Trusted?
The system that is devoid of counterparty risk becomes the most trusted. That's kind of what gold was historically, right? No one could change its issuance schedule. And then once you can't redeem the dollar for anything, we get into this fiat conundrum where we're just expanding the dollar supply ad infinitum.
