The SEC Charges Brokerage Firms With Sanctions
The securities and exchange commission has charged eight brokerage firms with sanctions after they got hit with b e c compromises. There their employees, e male accounts got taken over, and that exposed personal data of thousands of clients. I just thought it was interesting that this is the s c c coming at them, that you have this organization that has regulatory oversight on these investment firms. And basically they're sending shot across the bow and saying, hey, you all have to do a better job here.
