The Future of Forensic Anthropology

Most forensic anthropologists are thought of as being people who deal with bones. We were the kind of kids who got jigsaw puzzles every single year at christmas, because we like to be able to reconstruct these parts of the body. The more you abuse your body, the more information you leave behind for us. I refuse to let my daughters go and have braces - they wouldn't be identified if their teeth were perfect. You need some variation in there. And even from something that is as unpromising, potentially as this, we may well be able to reconstruction parts of the human body.
