Karma is not a concept. It is just that you exist only because of your karma. Once you become human, you are supposed to function intelligently and conscious. For any human being, this is important in every aspect of life - particularly for a soldier. You don't do compulsive, reactive things as then you will do what your enemy wants you to do very easily they can get you into a reaction. This is remely important for all aspects of life.
