There is a possibility that molecules like tris can prevent the damage during the chilling to prolong the a storage time of organs. The whole problem ther, i would think, would be distribution. And ere you think about an rgan with all its different compoments and different kinds of tissues, i just think delivery might be impossible. However, having said that, one of the problems was storing a hearts, for instance, for long period as you have to chill them. You can't keep em a rood temperature, and you can't freeze them.
