Back then Americans only baved once a week on Saturday in preparation for the Sabbath. Hair was rarely washed soap was made out of animal fats and often smelled worse than body odor. The Pespodent's smile is a well known term that describes someone with a beautiful smile. All of that happened by linking the product with value.
