At recon food, we were trying to use food as a way to build a vertical social network. One of the main product decisions that you made at squad was to make it audio. There's a level of intimacy that audio gives that text just does not give. And so we were very intentional about being in that happy medium of easy, blind, intimate listeners might not know you're black.
