In some ways I think about this kind of current libertarian moment as something you know using some of the kinds of transformations that have taken place with things like technology and cryptocurrencies. But using a basic fundamental groundwork that's been laid by some of the more radical neo-liberal projects of the 70s and 80s Reagan Thatcher and others at least in the US. There's this constant contracting out increasingly right to private operators in various kinds of ways. Mike Davis writes about this really eloquently in city of courts about how this came about in Los Angeles or Evan Mackenzie who wrote a book called Privateopia back in the 90s.
