Do New Technologies Make Our Economy Grow or Do They Cause Unemployment?

Ink: Do new technologies tend to make economies grow, or do they end up causing unemployment? Ink: They can do both. But we're a long way from these technologies fully eating away at the full spectrum of what humans bring to many of their jobs. People have particular conceptions of themselves, and they want to stay out of work until the right job comes up in order to protect that identity. I think as we move further into the 20 first century, i do think that if we get the sorts of technologies that stuart russell and his colleagues are writing and worrying about then the implications for the world of work will be quite different.
