The Ministry of Technique Is Pernicious
I want to be very careful not to contribute to the unhelpful dynamic in a lot of Christian conferences. The ministry of technique is pernicious and harmful to the life of the church. I've never switched from complimentary to a gallery so much in that light in one hour. Lord, have mercy on us if we are pushing and polluting the church with this snake oil just to sell something. It's arrogant and evil to think that we can replicate and manipulate the move of God on demand.
