The Linga and the Snake
A three-headed bull is a representation of the same process of the Ida, Pingala and the Sushumna. Represented as a bull, later on evolved or parallely to also evolved into three-headed snakes or three snakes. There are wonderful stories going back in many ways. These two things are very much there in Krishna's life of he taming a bull and then dancing upon the hood of a snake.
