Otis Redding pleaded with Al Jackson's union to with someone take a listen to him sing. Steve Cropper who is not a piano player playing tributes on the piano in the rest is history for Otis Redding. No one understood Otis better than Otis because Otis was a huge fan of little Richard if you listen to the B side of these arms of mind you're gonna think it's no Richard because that's where Otis was.
