"I wouldn't say that it's been the easiest but I also have nothing to compare it to," he says. "It's kind of been a culmination of many, many, many things that I didn't really realize until I started going to therapy a few years ago." He grew up in an Italian family with 35 people on both sides of the family and always felt alone because his older sister was so much more independent than him. His parents made sure they went to Catholic school their entire lives; there was food on our table at every meal. They love me to the best of their ability,. It just wasn't necessarily the love that I needed growing up.
