The Rise and Fall of Mario Kart
Mario Kart 8 boosted Wii U sales to the point where people were actively looking for the things. Star Fox hasn't really seen it raised to the heights that it could reach. I don't think it'll ever be like big Nintendo three or Zelda Mario, but Metroid's never had like a sniff of how successful those two series are.
