The Joy of the Resurrection

The disciples' lives got much harder, not easier. They would all but one die martyr's death. And yet their lives testified to something peculiar, this strange joy. The most peculiar attribute of the early persecuted church was their joy when it seems that they had no good reason to be joyful. So in the name of his resurrection, let your hearts go. Indulgent hope feast on joy dream your dreams of how good life could be because whatever your dream may be, your destiny is sure to exceed it.
