Abra Oper says there were months of closed door meetings and high stakes negotiations between lawmakers and the n r a after sandy hook shooting. For a short while, looked like there was going to be a compromise, that we were going to sit down and come up with something that made sense,. but then came an article in politico that said the nr a was in talks with democratic senators. From the moment that article came out, there was no more talk of compromise. There is going to be no federal gun law. Any new legislation would have to come from the state. We are proposing to day common sense measures and i say to you, forget the extremists. And the madness now.
