We Need Long-Term Investment
Labor's position on companies is still too cautious, he says. The city has become very short-termist over the last 20 years and doesn't invest enough in long-term growth. You need company structures where ownership does not simply in short-term share holdings,. And you probably need workers on boards to anchor those companies - that needs a state investment bank of some kind. Our economy is very weak in those structures.
