One source said that they could find no evidence that Andrew Jackson's journals or diaries had anything about any of these experiences at the Bell Witch Forum. He personally was not humiliated. It was the witch hunter. Me personally, if I experienced that and saw someone have that happen to them, I would be going to my journal saying, dear diary, guess what happened. That's how all great American leaders have started their journals.
