I love that we're all different. I have started writing a book before with nothing more than the main character's name. That was it. And if my characters aren't taking over, then something's wrong. So yes, i have abandoned manuscripts, but so do plotters. We all have horelaives full of things we've never finished. He and maybe we'll come back to them one day.
