Lonard cone is unique in that he uses jewish sources in a contemporary context, says Yonay. He grew up in a deeply religious background, but it was a westernized home and his family were very much no trying to settle down as english speaking canadian citizens. I don't know of anybody from a juis perspective who does that - i think it is really music.
