"I feel that they were not exactly pursuing their own self interest," the congressman says of some republicans who voted down veterans' bills. He suggests every bill should have a list ingredients, so you can see what's in the bill, good and bad. And i would say that if the public, if the average voter, can't understand the bill, then it should not be voted on."
