Intro

This chapter explores the introduction of advanced machines for luggage checks at security screening points in Hong Kong's Terminal 1, aimed at enhancing efficiency and capacity by enabling passengers to leave electronic devices and liquids in their bags. The new equipment comprises CT X-ray machines offering 3D images for enhanced assessment by screeners, as well as full-body scanners for individuals setting off metal detectors.
