I think the classic example for me was when i added reats real estate investment trust to my portfolio in two thousand seven, subsequently had a 78 % loss in the acidanivd held on and obviously added to it over the years. I lost 78 % of that initial investment because, why? Well, i was probably performance chasing. But you got to be careful. Any time you make a change, it's usually best not to touch it.
