Connecting the Extended Mind to Therapy

Ryan: I've never quite pondered therapy from an extended mind point of view but I think what the extended mind would have to say about that is first of all that being in person would be greatly preferable to conducting therapy online. He says there's a phenomenon known as social interruption where we can tune into our own internal sensations by mimicking others' facial expressions and gestures. And so he thinks face-to-face contact between two people who are sitting across from each other in person is an ideal setting for psychotherapy. The next book, you can be cool possibly possibly.
