The Trump campaign paid $600,000 to Berkeley research group to chase down all these rumors about the stolen election in the six swing states. The money was routed through a series of consultancies and this company wasn't the only one to get cash payments from the campaign which were described in federal filing fees as consulting fees. They looked at all of it and they found that there was nothing significant enough to have affected the election outcome because there was never any there there. People familiar with the matter said, meadow showed skepticism of the findings and continue to maintain that Trump won.
