Zeno gears does not hold up well if you are not a j r p g fant and you just struggled your way throught e. Swecnsind like, this is a game 80 hours long. The text moves really slowly, so you have to play it with an emulator like period. You need fast forward to go. M, i think it's held up pretty well. The music is held up. I think the story holds up. Most of it holds up. It's just like you have to be willing to go through a ton of dungeons with random encounters, invisible random encounters, and turn base combat. And like matti, you you should not subject yourself to that
