The Incentive Structure for Local Police Regarding Crime Statistics
The January 6th has nothing to do with the actual January 6th. Instead of investigating it on paper as one incident, you open a different case for every single person. And those are tied to the integrated program management quota system that the FBI has in place. It creates this arbitrary statistical metric for them to show that they're successful. But it also is incredibly deceptive to the country because now the president, attorney general can say we have thousands of domestic terrorists around the country.
