The Good Beliefs Happen to Good People

Good people have bad beliefs even if it's in quite a rational rational approach yeah but i guess one worry about that approach might be it's a sort of um you know leaves us feeling a little bit powerless as if everyone's already rational. Is there any value in improving epistemology or are we just sort of stuck with these different difficult informational contexts always driving good people to have bad beliefs? In a way i think it gives us more to do but it's more to do things philosophers aren't good at and shouldn't be good at so people want to improve thinking they think okay great i've got the tools to do that i can teach people critical thinking.
