The Universal Themes of Zuko's Journey
i'm a cultural journalist parked at the intersection of geeked him in diversity so i am regularly looking at characters from not just like do i see myself in them but how universal is this theme and so i think that's why i'm always coming back to avatar because there's so many universal themes. even you know in in zuko's journey that cognitive dissonance that he had basically was hit with who he was in the world that was created around him. Even in book one there's things that are learned that are seen but never talked about in first gen thing where there's definitely the islands people don't talk about.
