The Importance of Separating the Art From the Artist
If they're not your art parents, who are they? You learn from them. Who else you learn from? My neighbor. This is a neighbor who showed me how they were the neighbor who wreaked havoc in the neighborhood by their Machiavellian tactics but they really had great organization skills. I think the metaphor has to be you have to take away the human part of it. Otherwise you're still saying that this is a person to be studied rather than you're studying just a craft.
