The Problem of Misinformation in Voting
Libertarians agree there is a real problem with misinformation in the stream of information available to voters. They disagree whether it's a good idea to put the government in charge, or to give the government a significant role in fying and trying to police that kind of misinformation from our prespective. Voters don't have a strong incentive either to acquire or to intelligently assess the information before them because it really doesn't matter. The odds that your vote in any given election are infinitesimally small.
