The US and Ukraine's Promise to Clean Up Cluster Munitions
Pentagon insists that the cluster munitions it will send to Ukraine were tested and said they have a dud rate of less than 2.35%. The New York Times actually did some good reporting on this and found that the rate will likely be closer to 14%. Each 155 millimeter artillery shell is going to be packed with 72 of these bomblets at a 14% dud rate. That means they'll each leave about 10 unexploded bombs.
