I think there are lots of experiments going on and some of them are beginning to be quite successful as we've seen. But part of my advocacy of unions is for its political power, which will translate into changes in the economic world. I don't think it makes sense to be a hundred percent unionization. It's not just about your individual workplace, it's about ensuring that those rules get put in place for everybody.
We don't know about you, but we are fans of weekends. And social security. And health insurance. And the end of child labor! And all of these workplace protections exist because of the advocacy of labor unions.
