Most of the world now is either christian or moslem, but it's not because they all had some intuition that there must be like, some single god. They're all just part of these abrahamic religions that did a whole bunch of conversion through one way or another. But if we look at cultures where there was no communication across those cultures, and still see the presence of a common belief, then this might actually be s for the existence of whatever that belief is.
